SmallBizTech is an independent technology publication for small business owners. We research, test and explain the software and tools that help small businesses save time, automate work and grow — starting with CRM and job management software for service businesses.
Why we started SmallBizTech
Most software advice is written for large companies, or by vendors selling their own products. Small business owners — plumbers, salon owners, clinic managers, shopkeepers — need straight answers: what does this tool actually do, what does it really cost, and is it worth the time to set up?
Who we are
SmallBizTech is written and built by Muhammad Faizan, a full stack developer (MERN) and AI automation engineer with 4+ years of experience building applications, GPT-powered tools and n8n workflows for businesses.
That background shapes what we publish here: most small businesses are still doing manually what software could handle in the background, and the useful question is never "which tool is most popular?" but "what will this actually change in your week?"
